OUR TEAM

In 2003, two successful Ottawa realtors—Janny Mills and Jeff Rosebrugh—made the decision to join forces in an effort to strengthen and build their individual businesses. They felt that by combining their extensive real estate knowledge and experience, they could better serve their ever-growing database of clients.

In July of 2011, award-winning Ottawa Realtor® Shan Cappuccino brought his 20 years of experience in Ottawa real estate to the table, joining with Janny and Jeff to form the Janny, Jeff and Shan team. With more than 100 years of combined experience and deep knowledge of local real estate, the team continues to provide their clients with a powerful advantage in the Ottawa real estate market.

Today, the successful team consists of the three partners, as well as Licensed Assistant Christine Jurado, longtime Administrative Assistant Michelle Harris, and seasoned assistant Tom Mills.

Jeff Rosebrugh


Jeff has been an Ottawa Realtor® since 1986. His in-depth knowledge of the Ottawa market and his keen ability to pinpoint the neighbourhoods and homes that are right for his clients are just two of the many reasons for his career longevity in an often transient business.

Jeff’s superior interpersonal skills have served him well as he has worked diligently over the past 39 years to build a strong referral-based business. Jeff continues to assist many of his clients with their real estate needs on an ongoing basis.

Shan Cappuccino


 

Shan Cappuccino was born in Hong Kong and raised in an orphanage until he was 10 years old. At the age of 10, he was adopted into a multi-racial Canadian family of 21 children, where he soon learned to adapt and implement the best of each culture into his own character.

In 1985, his family founded Child Haven International, a registered charity assisting children and women in four countries. At an early age, he became fascinated with the business sphere and began working in the hospitality services sector. Eventually, he became involved in property management and subsequently became a licensed Realtor® in 1991.

Shan’s life experiences have enabled him to become a strongly-motivated and persistent sales representative. While many individuals find dealing with the various facets of a real estate transaction to be overwhelming and even immobilizing, Shan thrives on challenge! He employs his valuable, broad skill-set when assisting each and every client. Shan values learning, and it is for this reason that he regularly attends a variety of courses and seminars to improve and update the knowledge and skills that have enabled him to succeed in the real estate business for 34 years.

Christine Jurado


 

Born in Olso, Norway, Christine had also lived in Switzerland for a short time before her family relocated to Ottawa in 1973. Christine and Shan have successfully worked side by side for more than 15 years in the real estate business and in life; they are the proud parents of two girls. Christine has joined the team in the position of a Licensed Administrative Assistant, bringing with her the experience she has gained from working for many years in the IT sector.

Christine’s experience in the IT sector has seen her work as a freelance computer programmer, for Jetform and also for Adobe in Ireland. Her programming and business-analysis skills have enhanced the many abilities she employs while in the field of real estate, especially on the administrative side. Christine dabbles in photography and often contributes valued home-staging advice to clients preparing their homes for sale.

 

Michelle Harris


 

Michelle’s career with Janny, Jeff and Shan’s team started in 2005. From day one, she has played a major part in keeping the office running smoothly on the administrative side. Through successful management of a broad array of responsibilities, Michelle’s competence and expertise have supported the team well, ensuring consistent, award-winning performance and a satisfied clientele.

In the fall of 2023, Michelle began dialing back her hours in order to lead a more balanced life, freeing up time and space to pursue some of her personal goals. The team’s practice will continue as before, as we work with the ever-changing technologies that help us to serve you better.
